What do the LEDs on my Ottie box mean?

Ottie box and status LEDs

There are 3 main indicators on your Ottie Box. From top to bottom: Cellular, Internet and Wi-Fi.

During the Ottie box startup phase, only the cellular LED blinks and alternates between white and green.
Once the Ottie box is fully booted and ready for the onboarding, the LEDs will be lighting up and down: follow the instructions on the Ottie app (iOS & Android) to onboard your Ottie box.

Once the Ottie box has been onboarded, the LEDs have the following meaning:

Cellular LED

Red

The Ottie box has no cellular coverage, if possible, move it closer to a window.

Green and steady

The Ottie box has a good cellular coverage.

Green and blinking

The Ottie box is currently covering you for an outage.

Blue and blinking

The Ottie box is looking for the best cellular network to connect to.

Home internet LED

Blue

The Ottie box is connected to your home network via Ethernet.

Blue and blinking

The Ottie box is connected to your home network via Ethernet and currently using it.

Green and steady

The Ottie box is connected to your home Wi-Fi network.

Green and blinking

The Ottie box is connected to your home Wi-Fi network and currently using it.

Red and blinking

The Ottie box is currently covering you for an outage.

Wi-Fi LED

Off

The Ottie box Wi-Fi is disabled. Wi-Fi LED.

Green and steady

The Ottie box has a good Wi-Fi coverage.

Green and blinking

The Ottie box Wi-Fi is enabled and currently being used.

Finally, all three LEDs blinks blue during factory resets and upgrades. Please don’t turn off the Ottie box.
